The Birth experience is centered

on documenting the powerful, sacred moments of your baby’s arrival with grace, and intention.

I’ve experienced the beauty and intensity of birth firsthand, having welcomed three babies at home. I often think back to my first, who was born in the sac—a rare and miraculous moment—and wish I had had a birth photographer to capture it. That experience inspires the way I work today: quietly and attentively capturing every fleeting, irreplaceable moment of your baby’s arrival. My goal is to allow you to stay fully present, while creating timeless images that celebrate the love, awe, and joy of this life-changing day.

FAQ

How many births do you take per month?

To ensure each family receives my full presence and care, I accept a very limited number of birth clients each month — typically one, and occasionally two depending on due dates.

Because birth photography requires being on call around the clock, availability is intentionally limited. This allows me to remain rested, flexible, and fully present when your baby arrives.

If you are considering birth photography, I recommend reaching out early, as dates do fill quickly.

What is your service area for birth photography?

I currently accept birth photography clients within a 20-mile radius of Andover, Minnesota. This boundary ensures I can arrive promptly and reliably when labor begins.

If you are outside this radius, feel free to reach out — availability may be considered on a case-by-case basis depending on location and due date timing.

When will we receive our images?

Your gallery will be delivered within 3–4 weeks of your birth.

What if I end up having a cesarean birth?

If permitted by your hospital and care team, I will document as much of your birth story as possible. If photography is restricted, I continue the story before and after delivery so your experience is still meaningfully preserved.

Is birth photography right for me?

Birth photography is for families who want to remember not just how their baby looked, but how it felt — the strength, emotion, and quiet moments that pass too quickly. If preserving your story matters deeply to you, birth photography may be a meaningful investment.
