Do I need to schedule a consultation before booking?
Consultations are a wonderful way for me to learn more about what you’re looking for, answer any questions you may have, and make sure we’re the right fit for each other before your session. They are encouraged, but not required, in order to book.
Where is your photography studio located?
Are digital images included, or do I purchase images separately?
Fig & Olive Photography is located in northern Andover, Minnesota, in a private studio on the property of my family home. When you arrive, you’ll pull into a home driveway rather than a commercial storefront, so don’t be surprised if you see signs of family life nearby. I love having my studio here because it allows me to welcome families into a warm, peaceful space while also being present with my own children.
Yes, every session includes a small collection of hand-edited digital images. After you view your proofing gallery, you’ll have the option to upgrade to the full digital gallery and/or choose heirloom products such as albums, frames, or keepsake artwork. There is no pressure to purchase more, but many families love having the option to preserve their images in both digital and printed form.
What types of photography sessions do you offer?
Fig & Olive Photography offers birth, Fresh 48, maternity, newborn, milestone, and family photography, with a heart for preserving the early joys of family life. From the anticipation of a new baby to the fleeting details of childhood, each session is designed to help you remember the story God is writing in your family.
Do you offer both studio and outdoor sessions?
Why should I print through Fig & Olive Photography?
I offer outdoor sessions for maternity and family photography, while newborn sessions take place in my studio where everything is set up for baby’s comfort and safety. If you love the idea of a little variety, some sessions can include a mix of mostly studio portraits with a few outdoor images as well. Since my studio is located on our family property in northern Andover, we have access to a beautiful outdoor setting right outside the studio.

I’ve carefully vetted professional print labs and chosen high-quality products that reflect the same care and beauty as your finished gallery. When you print through Fig & Olive Photography, you receive heirloom-quality artwork designed to preserve your images beautifully for years to come, and I’ll help you choose pieces that fit your family, your home, and the story you want to remember.
